Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate now has a Sonic Palico costume
And 14 new quests as free DLC.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate's free April DLC is out now and it allows you to dress one of your feline pals up as Sonic the Hedgehog.
This isn't the first Nintendo fan-service added to Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate as the game includes Link and Samus costumes, and the previously released Starter Pack DLC added Mario and Luigi costumes for your Palico companions.
Capcom will be adding free DLC to Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate the first Friday of every month. As detailed on the Capcom Blog, today's April pack includes the following:
- 14 New quests
- 2 New weapons
- 3 Complete armor sets
- 4 Palico weapons
- 7 Palico armor sets
- 1 Bonus Palico: Blue Pal
- 4 Guild Card backgrounds
- 2 Guild Card poses
- 13 Guild Card titles
- 1 Poogie outfit: Vagaboar
To access the new content you need to select "DLC" in the main menu, download it, then choose Event Quests and Challenge Quests in the Gathering Hall by talking to the Questatrix and the Arena Bambina respectively.
Capcom noted that it will be running some server maintenance tomorrow that will last until the following day, so you'd best download the DLC fast if you don't want to wait an extra day or two.
