Just Cause dev's TheHunter: Primal leaves Early Access, launches proper

Everybody shoot the dinosaur.

Just Cause and Mad Max developer Avalanche Studios has released its Cretaceous-era PC survival title TheHunter: Primal.

Featuring a large open-world to explore in first-person, TheHunter: Primal is now available via Steam after a three months of Early Access incubation.

Armed only with a handful of supplies, you must learn how to find and craft weapons, clothing and ammo while avoiding being dinner for one of the game's indigenous dino species.

Both single-player and multiplayer modes are included, including private lobbies and PVP games.

Equipment is dropped upon your death, but will remain in-world for you to retrieve - or for other players to find first.
