Square Enix teases an unannounced console JRPG for fiscal 2015

Could it be another re-release of Final Fantasy 7?

Square Enix president Yosuke Matsuda teased a "surprise" JRPG for "home game machine(s)" in fiscal 2015.

Could we be getting the long-anticipated port of the PC version of Final Fantasy 7 for Xbox One?

This news comes from an interview with Japanese outlet Nikkei Trendy (via Games Talk, translated via Gematsu).

"For fiscal 2015, I think we have a considerable amount of high-end games both inside and outside the country," Matsuda said. "Starting with Final Fantasy 15, we'll be putting out news for Japanese RPGs."

"I think we'll have a little surprise, too," he added before clarifying that he was referring to "a JRPG for home game machine(s)."

When asked is Square Enix could verify this report, a spokesperson told Eurogamer that it couldn't comment beyond what was said in the interview. But they didn't deny it either, which seems to be standard practice when it comes to mistranslations, so it seems like the publisher has something up its sleeve. But what?
