Atari isn't out of ideas, it's got Atari Fit

Yeah.

What, you thought Atari was milking RollerCoaster Tycoon and that was it? Wrong! Say hello to Atari Fit.

It's a mobile game and it, puke, 'gamifies' exercising by rewarding points you can unlock old games like Pong and Centipede with. Because that's exactly what you want from a fitness game.

It's got 150 exercises and it aggregates data from apps like Fitbit and RunKeeper so you keep all that stuff in one place.

"It's a gamified fitness experience with an Atari twist," said Atari CEO Fred Chesnais. The game also features a reward-points partnership with real-life pharmacy Walgreens, which is weird.

Atari Fit is coming early 2015.
