Tony Hawk is working on a new console game for 2015

UPDATE: Tony Hawk's Shred Session has been "postponed indefinitely".

UPDATE 07/11/2014 6.25pm: Activision has confirmed to Eurogamer that "new Tony Hawk console and mobile titles are coming in 2015" and that "Tony Hawk's Shred Session is postponed indefinitely."

ORIGINAL STORY 07/11/2014 5.48pm: Pro skateboarder Tony Hawk has revealed that he's working on a new console game, and a new mobile title, due next year.

"I'm currently working with Activision on a console game for 2015 (along with a new mobile game). I think fans of THPS series will be hyped," the athlete wrote on Twitter.

We've requested comment from Activision on the matter and are awaiting reply.

The last Tony Hawk game released was the remake Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD, which our Simon Parkin found a little dated in his review. Hawk is also working on the free-to-play mobile game Tony Hawk Shred Session, due later this year.
