EGX 2015 headed to Birmingham NEC next September

Meanwhile, EGX Rezzed tickets on sale tomorrow.

Gamer Network, which also publishes this website, has announced that next year's EGX will take place at Birmingham's NEC from 24th to 27th September 2015.

The UK's biggest games event, EGX is set to grow further as part of the move, which forms part of a multi-year deal.

Tickets will be frozen at this year's prices, and there are plans to offer discounted train and coach tickets for EGX attendees.

We're still catching our breath from this year's event, which welcomed a record 75,000 of you lot through the doors of London's Earl's Court for the - sniff - last time.

"EGX has experienced amazing growth during our four years at Earl's Court," Gamer Network head honcho Rupert Loman explained.

"While we are sad to leave, we see the move to the NEC not only as a real opportunity to continue its success, but also to evolve and improve the experience we offer both attendees and exhibitors."

More details on EGX 2015 will be announced in due course.

Before all of that, though, there is EGX Rezzed to look forward to - set to take place in London at Tobacco Dock from 12th to 14th March. Still have post-EGX blues? EGX Rezzed tickets go on sale from tomorrow morning.
