Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition top of UK chart

Tales of Xillia 2 debuts in 10th place.

Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition is the first Diablo game to top the UK sales chart.

Blizzard's action role-playing game launched on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 last week. The Reaper of Souls expansion launched on PC earlier this year.

Diablo 3 launched on PC in May 2012 and entered the chart at number two. It launched on PS3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013. Ultimate Evil Edition includes the original game.

Chart-Track data showed 47 per cent of sales of Ultimate Evil Edition were on PS4. 32 per cent were on Xbox One. 13 per cent were on Xbox 360 and eight per cent were on PS3. The PS4 version is the biggest Diablo 3 console launch, Chart-Track added, beating out the original Xbox 360 edition by 500 units. It should be noted that download sales are not included in Chart-Track's data.

Elsewhere, Naughty Dog's The Last of Us Remastered dropped to number two after three weeks in top spot. PopCap's Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare rises from 15 to three after the release of the new PS4 and PS3 versions. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is fourth, and Infinity Ward first-person shooter Call of Duty: Ghosts is fifth.

Bandai Namco PS3 role-playing game Tales of Xillia 2 debuts in 10th place.
