Sigourney Weaver and original Alien cast to star in Alien: Isolation

Though it's a pre-order bonus only.

Sigourney Weaver and members of the original Alien cast are lending their voices and likenesses to Sega and Creative Assembly's Alien: Isolation - though only in two missions which are pre-order bonuses.

Two missions are being worked on that feature members of the 1979 original. The first, 'Crew Expendable', casts players as either Yaphet Kotto's Parker, Tom Skerritt's Dallas or Sigourney Weaver's Ripley as they explore the Nostromo and track down the alien. This mission is available to all pre-orders in the UK. Ian Holm's Ash and Veronica Cartwright's Lambert also make appearances. Is it too much to expect a little ditty from Harry Dean Stanton too?

A second mission, called 'Last Survivor', casts players as Ripley as she races to activate the Nostromo's self-destruct sequence. It's a mission only available as a pre-order bonus from select retailers, though it's not quite clear just yet which retailers they might be.

Alien: Isolation is coming out on October 7th on Xbox One, PS4, PC as well as last-gen consoles, and it's looking rather splendid. What's quite possibly Harry Dean Stanton's first appearance in a video game only makes it all the more splendid still.
