Another World out on PS4, PS3 and Vita next week

Cult classic adventure has cross-buy and cross-save.

Getting any Flashbacks?

Eric Chahi's cult classic 1991 surreal sci-fi adventure Another World launches on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Vita on 25th June.

Chahi has teamed up with engineer Martial Hesse-Dréville to update the game with an improved resolution, full colour backgrounds and refined animations. Also added is a cinematic soundtrack, Hesse-Dréville explained on the PlayStation blog.

The PlayStation versions feature cross-buy, cross-platform trophies and cross-save support.

But what about other platforms? In April Another World was spotted on the German ratings board for release on Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, Vita, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One as a 20th Anniversary Edition, so we expect it to turn up on pretty much everything eventually - save the Xbox 360.

UPDATE: As Eurogamer reader xantiriad points out, Another World is due out on Wii U and 3DS this week.

Another World - 20th Anniversary Edition, published by Digital Lounge, launches on the Wii U and 3DS eShops on 19th June for £7.19 / €7.99.
