Ratchet & Clank HD Trilogy Vita release date announced

Insomniacs can play in bed.

The Ratchet & Clank HD Trilogy launches on PlayStation Vita in Europe on 2nd July, Insomniac Games has announced.

It'll be sold as a download title from the PlayStation Store for €29.99 (we're chasing a UK price now) and in shops.

"We're really excited by how well the PS Vita port of the HD Trilogy has turned out," Insomniac community chief James Stevenson wrote on the PlayStation Blog.

"It looks amazing and is a terrific way to play the classic Ratchet & Clank adventures. We can't wait for you to get your hands on it and take Ratchet with you wherever you may go."

The Ratchet & Clank HD Trilogy launched on PlayStation 3 courtesy of developer Idol Minds in 2012. It includes the original three PlayStation 2 games: Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank 2: Locked and Loaded and Ratchet & Clank 3, as well as a Trophy set for each game.

The Vita port was handled by Mass Media, Inc, which made the Jak and Daxter Trilogy for PS3 and Vita.
