Bandai Namco has done a free-to-play Soulcalibur game on PlayStation 3. Now it's done a free-to-play Soulcalibur game on mobile.

Soulcalibur Unbreakable Souls is out now on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. There's it's a free download, but as you'd expect there are in-app purchases to contend with.

Bandai Namco has reworked the famous weapon-based fighting game for mobile with a single finger combat system. During combat you play cards by tapping on them, the idea being that if you link cards you perform more powerful attacks.

You acquire weapons and avatars as you search for fragments of Soul Edge. There are over 150 avatars and more than 200 weapons with which you create a deck for use in combat. Weapons are elemental: fire, water, wind, light and dark. There is a player versus player mode.
