Buffy the Vampire Slayer imagined as a classic LucasArts adventure

But Willow be able to play it?

What if a Buffy the Vampire Slayer game was in development and old-school LucasArts was still alive to make it?

It's a question we hadn't put much thought into, but are very happy that someone else has.

The artwork below was crafted by illustrator Andrew Scaife, who imagined what a Buffy point-and-click adventure might look like if it was made in the style of early Monkey Island titles (thanks, Shortlist).

The pixel art recreates some of Sunnydale's most iconic locations - the High School library, the Bronze, the Magic Box - and characters, including Buffy, Willow, Xander and Cordelia.

LucasArt's brand of humour - fairly similar to Buffy's, in some respects - is there too. Note Cordelia's spatula from Homecoming and Willow's Eskimo costume.

Sadly the concept art remains just that - a concept - unless someone takes the project further.
