Just Cause dev's Mad Max game drifts to 2015

But we have a new trailer to watch while we wait.

The Mad Max game in development at Avalanche launches at some point in 2015, a new trailer shows.

Mad Max, due out for PC, PlayStation, 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, had been due out in 2014.

Today publisher Warner Bros. released a new trailer - funnily enough on the day Avalance's expected Just Cause 3 hit the headlines - for Mad Max, showcasing the titular post-apocalyptic protagonist's car.

"Survive The Wasteland and customise the ultimate combat vehicle to overtake even the fiercest enemy," reads the official blurb.

Mad Max is an open world sandbox action game in which "cars are the key to survival". Mad Max has to survive in The Wasteland, and to do so uses a mix of on-ground and vehicular combat against bandits. He also has the "gifted, but peculiar" mechanic Chumbucket to help.

The new video is below - and underneath that is the extended cut, complete with gritty voice over.
