Beautiful 2D RPG Child of Light dated for April

Priced at £11.99 on next-gen and current platforms.

Ubisoft's stylish 2D turn-based RPG Child of Light is slated for a 30th April release on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U and PC for £11.99.

Set in the magical world of Lemuria, Child of Light follows the story of a kidnapped girl named Aurora who must escape her captors and rescue the sun, moon and stars that have been stolen by the Queen of the Night. The game will contain old-fashioned turn-based combat, 600 crafting combinations, villages to explore, 216 unlockable skills, and two-player co-op where a second player can take the role of Igniculus the firefly who aids in combat and exploration.

Child of Light is developed on Ubisoft Montpellier's Rayman engine, UbiArt. Like the limbless hero's latest adventures, Child of Light looks gorgeous, as can be seen in the release date trailer below.
