UPDATE: The Walking Dead: Season Two will launch for Xbox 360 on 18th December, a day later than Telltale first announced. It'll cost $4.99 (about £3).
The 18th is a Wednesday, rather than the usual Tuesday launch day for Xbox Live Arcade games, Microsoft's Major Nelson blog reported.
The game's Season Two Pass for all remaining episodes will go on sale for $14.99 (about £9) at the same time.
Before that, Season One episodes two through five will be reduced by 66 per cent between 17th and 22nd December.
Specific launch dates for other formats - including Xbox One - have yet to be nailed down.
ORIGINAL STORY: Telltale's fantastic The Walking Dead will begin its second season of episodes on 17th December, the game's Steam listing has revealed.
PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Vita, Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions are expected first - although how many will also arrive on that day remains to be confirmed.
An iOS version is also in the works.
You can currently pre-purchase the whole season via Steam at a 10 per cent discount - £17.09 instead of £18.99 (thanks, Videogamer).
"Many months have passed since the events seen in Season One of The Walking Dead, and Clementine is searching for safety," the game's description reads. "But what can an ordinary child do to stay alive when the living can be just as bad - and sometimes worse - than the dead?
"As Clementine, you will be tested by situations and dilemmas that will test your morals and your instinct for survival. Your decisions and actions will change the story around you, in this sequel to 2012's Game of the Year."
