Call of Duty: Ghosts PC patch drops 6GB RAM requirement to 4GB

UPDATE: Full patch notes released. Adds eSports features, 4k display option.

UPDATE: Infinity Ward has released the full list of patch notes for its latest update to Call of Duty: Ghosts. Most of the tweaks seem relatively minor in the grand scheme of things, though the 4k display option sounds rad for those with 4k displays. ORIGINAL STORY: A patch for the PC version of Call of Duty: Ghosts is available, Infinity Ward has announced.

Reddit user "mkapex1" reports the patch reduces the minimum amount of RAM required to run the game. Ghosts had required 6GB of RAM to run, but the new 400MB update to the PC version means it now requires 4GB.

While the patch notes remain unavailable (Infinity Ward said they will be released soon), players say it combats menu stutter and adds eSports rules alongside Broadcaster Mode.

MP1st has images of the Broadcaster Mode in action. A patch for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions is expected in the coming days.
