Xbox One Snap lets you play video games and watch TV at the same time

Multi-task.

Microsoft has released a new Xbox One video that showcases the console's Snap feature.

Snap lets you multi-task by bringing up an additional window alongside the main one in the Xbox One user interface.

Microsoft's Yusuf Mehdi demonstrates this while playing Turn 10 racing game Forza 5. He's driving, then, using a voice command, brings up a feed of his Xbox Live friends on the right hand side of the screen.

The feed shows what your friends are playing, latest achievements and uploaded videos.

He also snaps the Internet Explorer app, which allows you to browse the web while playing. Mehdi suggests this may be useful for viewing walkthroughs while gaming on the same screen.

And you can also watch television while playing. By saying "Xbox, snap TV," Mehdi brings up the ESPN app in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
