Klei's turn-based strategy game Incognita sells early alpha access

$17 for two copies.

Mark of the Ninja and Don't Starve developer Klei Entertainment has just launched the paid alpha for the PC version of its upcoming turn-based strategy/stealth hybrid Incognita.

Available at $16.99, this early access version will unlock the full game upon its 2014 launch. Better yet, it comes with a complementary second copy for a friend. Players can also spend $3 more to get the deluxe version that comes with the soundtrack.

Klei technical designer James Lantz explained on the studio's forums that the early build only contains a single randomly generating level. He also noted that it's "missing some major progression systems."

Lantz also offered the following recommended system specs for the alpha:

  • Operating System: Windows® XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8 (latest service packs) with DX 9.0c
  • Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
  • Processor: Pentium® Dual-Core CPU 2.60GHz (2 CPUs)
  • Memory: 2G RAM
  • Display Devices: Intel HD Graphics 4000
