Halfbrick announces Colossatron: Massive World Threat

Destroy all humans.

Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride developer Halfbrick has announced its latest game, Colossatron: Massive World Threat.

Revealed today at PAX Australia, Colossatron puts players in the role of a gigantic alien robot snake and you must destroy as much of the city as possible. Players will construct their wriggling monstrosity by connecting various colour-coded Powernodes that come with their own weapons and abilities.

While wreaking havoc, you must defend against the military forces of General Moustache's regime. As your one robot war against humanity wages on, Metro 6 Action News will comment of your unquenchable thirst for destruction. You'll be ranked on how much monetary damage you can cause.

According to Halbrick, it's trying to hearken back to "the craziest anime and cartoons of the 80s."

No platforms or launch window has been announced, but I've reached out to Halfbrick about such matters and will update as I find out more.

Until then, check out Colossatron: Massive World Threat's amazing debut trailer.
