Xbox 360 gets Eurosport app

Tennis! MotoGP! Athletics!

Eurosport is now on Xbox 360, Microsoft has announced.

An Xbox 360 app launched on Xbox Live yesterday. It supports voice and gesture control through Kinect.

The app has launched in 20 European markets and in 13 different languages, and grants Xbox Live Gold subscribers access to Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2, catch up services and live bonus content on select events.

On top of an Xbox Live Gold subscription, you'll need to pay a Eurosport Player subscription, which starts at £2.99 a month. But there's an introductory offer of three months free subscription to the Eurosport Player app with a 12 month Xbox Live Gold subscription. This is exclusive to Game in the UK, though.

Events featured this year include tennis, including the US Grand Slam, the Moto GP Championships, IAAF World Championships and the Women's UEFA European Championships.
