Retro City Rampage for PC adds mod support, enhanced graphics

75 per cent off today on Steam.

The latest update to the PC version of Brian Provinciano's lo-fi parody adventure, Retro City Rampage, has added mod support and spruced up graphics.

According to the game's official site, the 1.11 update's mod support allows players to "create new vehicles, characters, fonts and color palettes."

Additionally, a new "Retro+" graphics mode enhances the visuals by boosting real-time soft shadows and doubling the colours on screen. The developer noted that the original 8-bit mode is still available for purists, though.

To commemorate this occasion, the game is a whopping 75 per cent off on Steam for the next 23 hours, making it a scant £2.99 / $3.74.
