New Wastleland 2 video shows off... inventory screen

Lists! Grids! Weapons! Armour! Favourites! Images! More!

With all the high-profile Kickstarter-funded video games in development, it's hard to keep track of the latest new moves.

There's Double Fine's Broken Age and Massive Chalice, Obsidian's Project Eternity and Red Thread Games' Dreamfall Chapters, all of which raised millions of dollars through crowd-funding.

But let's not forget Brian Fargo's inXile, which is making two Kickstarter-funded games: Torment: Tides of Numenera, due out at some point in 2015, and, the subject of our attention today, Wasteland 2.

Wasteland 2 is the sequel to the open world sci-fi game that spawned the Fallout series. Its principal developer is inXile, but Chris Avellone's Obsidian Entertainment is helping out.

The video, below, shows off Wasteland 2's inventory screen. Check it out to find out why inXile went for a hybrid grid and list layout, to see weapon and armour images in all their glory, and discover what happens when you favourite an item.

Wasteland 2 has a tentative October 2013 release window.
