Airtight Games announce Ouya-exclusive disco Norse hybrid Soul Fjord

A randomly-generated dungeon-crawler with rhythm-based combat. Can you dig it?

Quantum Conundrum developer Airtight Games has announced its latest project, Soul Fjord, an Ouya-exclusive game that mixes 70's soul music with Norse mythology, because why not?

As detailed on Ouya's official site by Developers Best Friend and thatgamecompany co-founder Kellee Santiago, Soul Fjord is a randomly-generated dungeon crawler with rhythm-based combat. It follows the exploits of a funky afro-sporting warrior named Magnus Jones who upon being slain discovers that he wasn't invited to Ragnrok, the party to end all parties, literally. It's an actual end-of-the-world-party, and not one of those cheap knock-offs college kids throw in dorms. In order to gain clearance to club Valhalla, Magnus will have to prove that he's one bad mother (shut your mouth).

Get your first glimpse at Soul Fjord's sweet groove in the announcement trailer below.
