UK chart: BioShock Infinite soars to its third week on top

Plenty of prophets.

BioShock Infinite remains buoyant on top of the UK video game chart for a third consecutive week.

Irrational's floating-city FPS managed to hold Tomb Raider to second place, although it was close - the pair were separated by just 2500 copies.

There were no new entries in the UK top 40 this week, so the top 10 remained largely unchanged.

FIFA 13 pipped Defiance to third place, the sci-fi shooter settling for fourth. A tie-in to the new Syfy series of the same name, Defiance's first TV episode will air in the UK tomorrow.

The magnificent Luigi's Mansion 2 held firm in fifth, and Black Ops 2 was sixth.

Assassin's Creed 3, Gears of War: Judgment, Lego Batman 2 and Far Cry 3 made up the rest of the top 10.
