UK chart: Defiance rockets into top three, but BioShock Infinite still top

Levine the dream.

The brilliant BioShock Infinite has held its place atop the UK all-formats chart for a second week running, despite a strong launch for sci-fi shooter Defiance.

Defiance entered in third, the only new game on this week's chart, behind second place Tomb Raider.

Trion Worlds' futuristic offering is a new IP - a tie-in to the Syfy series of the same name which will premiere in the UK on 16th April.

FIFA 13 remained fourth and Luigi's Mansion 2 held fifth, while Gears of War: Judgment slipped into sixth.

Black Ops 2, Assassin's Creed 3, Skylanders Giants and Need for Speed: Most Wanted rounded out the rest of the top 10.

After Nintendo UK apologised for Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate stock issues, there's no sign at all of the game in the top 40. Last week's Wii U exclusive Lego City Undercover fell from 12th to 32nd, meanwhile.

The full top 40 is available on Chart-Track's website.
