Resident Evil 6 PC will feature the exclusive The Mercenaries: No Mercy mode

The MIA Siege mode now due in March.

The PC version of Resident Evil 6 will feature the exclusive The Mercenaries: No Mercy mode, an extra challenging rendition of the classic time-attack mode that pits you against endless waves of enemies.

"More enemies on screen than ever before will provide a greater challenge, but also the opportunity for players to use their skills to rack up even higher combo scores," wrote Capcom Europe in the announcement.

The PC release will contain all of the console versions' post-launch updates, so you can play the Ada campaign from the get go and tackle it with a partner if you like. You'll also have the ability to fine tune the in-game camera.

Elsewhere, the MIA Siege mode multiplayer DLC that tasks one team of soldiers with protecting an NPC while another team of monsters tries to kill them is due in March for Xbox 360 and PS3 for £3.19 / €3.99 / $3.99 / 320 Microsoft Points. Check it out in the new trailer below.

The timed Xbox 360-exclusive multiplayer DLC for Survivors, Predator and Onslaught modes are coming to PS3 in February for the same price each.

All four multiplayer modes will be available for purchase on PC shortly after Resident Evil 6's PC launch on 22nd March in both North America and Europe, where it will be available in physical form as well. It will retail for £19.99 / €29.99.
