World-first hands-on with Company of Heroes 2 at Eurogamer Expo

Plus Relic developer session and surprise gift for everyone who plays the game.

Yes, we're back! After a brief hiatus for Gamescom (it seems only fair to let them have their day in the sun), we're resuming announcements for this year's Eurogamer Expo.

Today we're announcing that Company of Heroes 2 will be publicly playable for the very first time anywhere in the world at this year's show! Weeeeee.

Not only that, but Relic Entertainment will be doing a developer session on the Saturday to showcase more of the game.

Not only that not only that, but publisher THQ is promising a "surprise gift" (I know what this is and I can't say, but it's pretty cool) to everyone who plays the game at the show or views the developer session.

"Company of Heroes is one of the best real-time strategy games ever made and the sequel looks stunning already," said Tom Bramwell, who is also me, in a press release about this, thereby creating a surreal Eurogamer feedback loop that may be the one doomsday scenario no one planned for.

The Eurogamer Expo takes place from 27th to 30th September this year at Earls Court, London, and we've got so much freaking content that even I am going.

You can get a run-down on all the announcements so far on the announcements page. They include things like playable Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Hideo Kojima doing a dev session, and loads of other things. Honestly, check it out.

And, if you haven't done so already, head over to www.eurogamerexpo.com to get your ticket.
