Infinity Blade dev's new game Vote lets you kick the crap out Mitt Romney

Or Barack Obama, if you prefer.

Infinity Blade developer Chair Entertainment has teamed up with voter advocacy association Rock the Vote to create Vote: The Game, a free iOS presidential themed fighter pitting reigning champion, US President Barack Obama, against Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

Due tomorrow on the App Store, Vote lets players choose a candidate then earn goofy, patriotic outfits and items to achieve victory in their no holds barred "debates."

By unlocking score boosters you'll achieve more votes, which can then be attributed to the candidate of your choosing and results are calculated in real-time worldwide.

The cartoon slugfest actually features in-game voter registration and resources for voters to brush up on their political goings on during this vital election year. A portion of the proceeds from in-app purchases will go to Rock the Vote to support its efforts encouraging young people to vote.

"Vote!!! is everything a great game should be - challenging, rewarding, super fun - and players will find themselves laughing the entire time," said Chair Entertainment creative director Donald Mustard. "We're excited to join forces with Rock the Vote to help emphasize the importance of voter registration and encourage gamers to become more involved in the political process."

Mustard further explained "I don't think it's a political game," in comments to Polygon. "Our goal was to keep it fun and light. We didn't want to be political... However, I do feel it's important to be aware of what's going on in our country and it is important to vote."

"We wanted to be 100 per cent neutral," he added.

"The gaming community is comprised of passionate, well-informed individuals who have an important voice in our democracy," said Rock the Vote VP of marketing and communications Chrissy Faessen. "We are really excited to partner with Chair and Epic Games to encourage voter registration among gamers, in a completely new and innovative way."
