PlayStation Mobile brings bite-sized games to PS Certified devices this autumn

To Vita, Android, Asus and Wikipad devices.

A funny old thing called PlayStation Mobile will be unleashed this autumn, Sony has announced.

PlayStation Mobile delivers bite-sized gaming like PlayStation Minis did - or the App Store does.

You can access PlayStation Mobile games from any PlayStation Certified devices, like Android tablets and smartphones. It almost goes without saying that PlayStation Vita is invited to the party as well.

PlayStation Mobile is supported by the PlayStation Store and PSN ID accounts. And when you buy a PlayStation Mobile game, it being anchored to your PSN ID means you can play it across all capable devices without buying it again.

Sony showed a maze game, a colourful 2D shooter and Lemmings in an on-stage demo reel. They looked like mobile games, unsurprisingly enough, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Incidentally, Asus and Wikipad are now PlayStation Certified devices.
