This Thursday's Nintendo 3DS eShop update is as spartan an offering as we've ever seen.
The highlights, if you can call them that, are a new tunnel racer for 3DS and an ancient Kemco RPG first launched on the Game Boy.
SpeedX 3D offers a fast-paced lesson in obstacle-avoidance, while its graphical style reminds us of Tron. Originally released for mobiles, the 3DS version will cost £2.70.
Meanwhile, ancient Game Boy role-player The Sword of Hope 2 will be dug up as this week's 3DS Virtual Console release.
Also launching this week are fresh DSiWare offerings 90's Pool (£4.50) and 101 Pinball World (also £4.50).
And then there's Successfully Learning English Year 3 on the Wii Shop Channel (800 Points, about £5.60).
