Angry Birds Trilogy for Kinect, PS Move, 3DS later this year

UPDATE: Housemarque is developing and it's a retail release.

Update: Super Stardust HD and Outland developer Housemarque is teaming up with Rovio on this one.

Also, Angry Birds Trilogy will be a retail release.

We've added the first images below.

Original story: Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio are being fused together to form Angry Birds Trilogy.

It will flock to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and 3DS this "holiday" season.

PlayStation Move, Kinect and StreetPass features will be available for their respective platforms.

Trilogy is the Activision-published Angry Birds project the company was crowing about last month.

But the compilation isn't just a cheep cash in. It has been "built from the ground up" for its new platforms, Rovio exec Petri Järvilehto told IGN.

"You can think of the game as the ultimate collector's edition. There are new cinematics, extras and other entertaining content. In addition, all of the existing material has been uprezzed and re-treated for the high-resolution and big screen."
