Mojang sends out Scrolls alpha codes

Calls for feedback and bug reports.

Scrolls enters its alpha stage today and developer Mojang has begun sending out codes to prospective players.

Mojang will start by sending out "quite a modest number of codes" allowing access to the card battling game, via email. The lucky few are selected at random from the list of those who signed up for the alpha.

"We are currently not looking to add more people to this list, so if you are not on it, you will have to wait until the open beta, I'm afraid," designer Jakob Porser wrote on Scrolls.com.

The alpha version of the game includes deck building, single-player and multiplayer. It features a full set of scrolls, so you'll have three of each available scroll in the game. A deck must be at least 40 scrolls big. You can have as many decks as you like.

Mojang called on players to report bugs and offer feedback.
