KOTOR Bundle Pack coming to PC

Return of the Jedi?

A new Knights of the Old Republic collection containing the first two games in the series is allegedly coming soon to PC.

The collection is listed on Amazon US with a 17th July release, priced at $19.99. This information is echoed in an internal GameStop listing via Joystiq.

We still have plenty of questions about what this re-release could entail. Is it coming to Europe? Will it be available as a digital download. Is it coming to consoles? Could an HD re-release be in order for XBLA or PSN?

Before we get ahead of ourselves we've contacted publisher LucasArts for some more concrete info and we'll keep you posted.

Knights of the Old Republic was developed by Mass Effect creator BioWare, while its sequel was handled by Obsidian, the studio behind Fallout: New Vegas and Alpha Protocol.

Our own Kieron Gillen awarded Knights of the Old Republic a 9/10 stating, "Knights of the Old Republic is the best Star Wars game since X-Wing and/or Tie Fighter, if not ever," in his review.

He wasn't quite as fond of its sequel which he called "one of the buggiest console games I've ever played," but still gave it an 8/10 explaining that it, "drives at its familiar riffs, throws in a few unexpected and joyous chords, hits a few bum notes and then leaves the stage."
