Ubisoft investigating Ghost Recon: Future Soldier PC "issues"

Mouse, WASD controls don't work, users report.

Ubisoft has responded to fan demands for the PC version of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier to be patched.

Fundamental issues include getting the game to recognise mouse and WASD keyboard controls, alongside a raft of other bugs and gripes.

The company explained it was "listening to the feedback" from users flooding the game's official forums with complaints after the game's North American launch yesterday.

Framerate problems, Xbox 360 buttons being displayed, a lack of 120Hz support, forced black borders and other resolution errors are just some of the lesser issues noted.

"Hello! The team continues to work hard, improving the game experience, supporting the title and listening to the feedback," said Ubisoft's community developer Antoine Emond. "There are multiple updates planned over the life of the game and here is some additional information on to what exactly each type of update contains.

"We'll try to keep you posted as much as possible regarding the future updates. See details for the day-one update here."

The game's console version launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last month, netting a solid 8/10 in Eurogamer's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier review and three weeks atop the UK all-formats chart. The PC version will hit UK shops on Friday.
