Sound Shapes dated, priced and confirmed for PS3

Rhythmic platformer coming later this summer.

Sound Shapes, the innovative looking rhythmic platformer that's previously helped spearhead the PlayStation Vita's software line-up, has been confirmed for release on August 7 - and it'll be coming out on PS3 on the same day.

It's priced at $14.99, and any purchase of Sound Shapes gets you access to both the PS3 and Vita versions, which will both accommodate cross-platform play. Thanks to cloud saves, it's possible to share save data between the two systems, as well as songs created in the game itself.

Sound Shapes is being developed by Jonathan Mak and Queasy Games, an outfit that previously brought the well-received Everyday Shooter to PlayStation systems.
