Sony turns off The Eye of Judgement: Legends online play

Card battler will be adhoc-only from August.

Online play for PSP card battler The Eye of Judgement: Legends will be turned off on 31st August, Sony has announced.

A statement on its EU community site explained that the title's adhoc multiplayer modes will still be available after that date.

Here's the blurb in full:

"The Eye of Judgment: Legends online service (matching service and ranking board) will be discontinued, effective August 31st, 2012. Adhoc play, however, will continue to be available after the online service has been terminated.

"We thank you for playing The Eye of Judgment: Legends and look forward to your continued support."

The game originally launched in Europe in March 2010. It's a spin-off of reasonably well-received 2007 PlayStation 3 release Eye of Judgement.
