Sons of Anarchy video game in the works

Series creator: "Console based. Not some slapcrap browser MP thing."

US TV show Sons of Anarchy is to get a video game tie-in, so says series creator Kurt Sutter.

According to his Twitter feed, as spied on by Gamespot, plans for a quick browser-based effort have been shelved in favour of something a little more substantial.

"SOA GAME UPDATE. Had a great meeting with a big distributor yesterday. Myself and everyone at FX and Fox is committed to making this happen," he wrote.

"Yes, we definitely wanna do a real game. Console based. Not some slapcrap browser MP thing. It'll take awhile, but it's the right way to go."

There's no word on who'll be developing or when it might be out.

Not seen Sons of Anarchy? It follows a gang of hairy yahoos who polish giant motorcycles by day and indulge in a spot of violent organised crime by night. It's on Channel 5 in the UK, and it's a good time.
