DSi gets a price cut in the US

Was $149, now $99, but no plans to do the same in Europe.

Nintendo slashes the price of the DSi in the USA from $149 to $99 as of 20th May.

The beefier DSi XL model will sell for $129, down from $169. The 3DS will continue to sell for $169.

A Nintendo UK rep told VG247 that there are currently no plans to drop the price in the UK.

"Although this announcement has been made in the US, the European and UK market don't have anything to announce at this time," they said.

The DSi currently sells for around £99 on these shores, the DSi XL for around £149, and the 3DS around £139.
