Prey 2 dev Human Head considering Rune 2

Studio hypes possible project - but is Prey 2 still alive?

Prey 2 developer Human Head is considering making a sequel to its 2000 third-person Viking action-adventure Rune.

A note on the newly formed Rune Facebook page simply states: "We are considering a sequel to the cult hit classic Rune!"

Then, on Twitter, the independent US studio called on gamers to "Like" the Facebook page and fill out the associated survey. In a later tweet, Human Head celebrated 15 years of game development.

Human Head's call for interest in a possible sequel to one of its back catalogue titles comes amid uncertainty around Prey 2, rumoured to be cancelled.

In March the promising FPS sequel was reportedly cancelled by publisher Bethesda, which has so far declined to comment.
