New Spy vs Spy game teased

Warner Bros to resurrect 8-bit classic?

Warner Bros has teased a brand new entry in the long-forgotten Spy vs Spy franchise.

A mysterious image has been released, which you can see below, showing a familiar silhouetted figure and the phrase, "If you don't succeed at first ... spy, spy again."

Whatever it is, it's being developed by Robots & Pencils under license from IP holder First Star Software.

iOS seems a likely destination - all Robots & Pencils past work has been for iPhone and iPad.

The original game, based on a MAD Magazine comic strip, launched on Atari, Commodore 64 and Apple II back in 1984. Various sequel and ports have followed since, most recently the dismal Spy vs Spy on PlayStation 2 back in 2005.

You can remind yourself of the 8-bit original below.
