PlayStation Network down for maintenance next week
Offline Thursday afternoon until Friday morning.
Sony has scheduled announced another bout of PlayStation Network maintenance.
The service will be offline from 4.00pm on Thursday 1st March until 7.00am the following morning. PlayStation Store (PC and Console), Home, customer account management and account registration will all be unavailable.
If you're logged in at 4.00pm you will be disconnected.
The announcement on the PlayStation forum didn't mention exactly what Sony's engineers are up to.

Won't bother me as I'll finally be getting around to playing Mass Effect 2 by then (got back some tax money), so I'll have no need for being online. I'm somewhat OK with it even if I didn't have ME2 arriving as it's got Sony putting more urgency in to getting the PS2 games on the store, shame FFXII or Rogue Galaxy hasn't been one of them.
