Dead Island dev's Haste becomes Mad Riders

Download-only off-road racer out in the spring.

Dead Island developer Techland's download-only off-road racer Haste has been renamed Mad Riders.

It launches on PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in the spring.

To coincide with the announcement, Ubisoft put out a new trailer, below.

You'll perform stunts across 45 tracks. There's a boost skill and hidden shortcuts.

Online, there are leaderboards, drop-in and out gameplay and three multiplayer modes for up to 12 players.

my only gripe with that trailer is that all the tricks seem to be a guy doing flips over and over again on the quad, which could get tiring quick!

Good use of the engine while they decide exactly where to go with the Dead Island sequel.. I may pick this up if the price is right I am missing a racer to mess around in for an hour or two every now and again.

@Nephirion 6/10 seems like a score we'll be seeing a lot. Just going from the trailer I can possibly see some faults that will be raised but many positives as well.. This seems like a stonewall 6/10 which isn't a bad score, 6/10 used to mean it was good until for some reason 8/10 became lowest score a game could get and still be called good.
