    I was actually surprised at how good the first one was even though I experienced it on the Xbox. Technical issues being the only thing that held the title back. To hear that they are paying more attention this time around to the console versions is very promising indeed.

    Now hurry up and publsh details about a collectors edition please....big map, pirate medallion with secret code printed on it for unique DLC, a graphic novel intro story and OST. Oh, and a flashy box.....and then bring it all in at £59.99 for Xbox 360 please.

    If I was marketing this I'd bury 100 Collector's Editions in locations across the UK, and run a big old treasure hunt. X marks the spot.

    I haven't played the original Risen but this looks lovely, I really love the whole 'Pirate RPG' thing they've got going on with this. In fact, thinking about it, I don't think I've played a pirate themed rpg since Skies of Arcadia: Legends on the Gamecube, it really is an underused genre.

    Sold. Risen 1 was GOTY 2010.
