Microsoft staffing up two new Kinect studios
Claims it's "ready to change the world again".
Microsoft has set up two new Kinect-focused development studios, judging by a set of recruitment ads.
As spotted on NeoGAF, Microsoft's careers page lists an opening at something called LEAP. It wants developers who, ideally, can boast "experience with Kinect or other motion control technologies".
"We're the people that developed Kinect and profoundly changed the way people interact with technology. Now our incubation team is ready to change the world again, but we need your help!" notes the blurb.
Another ad on the site for an HR manager mentions Platform Next Studios, which is apparently responsible for "pioneering experiences on Kinect".
There's no word on exactly what either studio is working on. Both are based in the platform holder's Redmond HQ, outside Seattle.
A Eurogamer report last November suggested that a second, more powerful iteration of Microsoft's motion control tech is currently in the works.
