Resident Evil: Revelations 3DS demo release date

Tomorrow, and first of many eShop samplers.

Demos of Resident Evil: Revelations and Cooking Mama 4 will be available from the 3DS eShop tomorrow, Nintendo has revealed.

These are the first demos on 3DS, although Nintendo plans plenty more.

A Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D demo is due at some point, presumably before the full game arrives in Europe on 8th March.

Sega games Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympics and Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure are due taster versions, too.

Resident Evil: Revelations is the latest entry in Capcom's classic survival-horror series. The game follows ye olde heroes Chis Redfield and Jill Valentine on an adventure that takes place between the events of the excellent Resident Evil 4 and not-so-excellent Resident Evil 5.

Really can't wait to give this a try tomorrow. It looks absolutely fantastic and should make a great addition to the series!

Has it been confirmed whether or not if the demo is the same as included in mercs 3DS? I'd be surprised if it was different, can't wait to get my hands on the full game

I believe it's a different demo than the Mercs. I think theres videos on Youtube showing the Japanese demo. I just hope it's much longer than the Mercs demo, that was ridiculously short.

Resident Evil Revelations received 5/10 from GamesTM, so a playable demo is most welcome to form my own opinion.

It aparrently suffers from the tank controls of old, now with added strafing.

Seems to be getting a wide variety of scores. I suppose it largely just comes down to if you like old school Resident Evil or not.

GamesMaster gave it 91%
Game Informer 9/10
Nintendo Power 9/10
Famitsu 39/40 (although I've seen 37/40 quoted as well)

Edge 6/10
Games TM 6/10

Looking forward to this instalment of Resident Evil; I'm not a fan of the series but this looks absolutely fantastic and I long for something that isn't bright and colourful and filled with rainbows and stars. Official Nintendo Magazine gave it 90%, which is incredibly high. Bring on the demo but it's day 1 for me anyway.

I personally didn't think Resident Evil 5 was that bad definatley wasn't as good as 4 i agree but thats just my opinion, nice to see 3DS finally get some demos

"Not so excellent Resi 5"?? I thought it was superb. Immensely enjoyable from start to finish. Sure, it had its faults but it was still great fun to play and nearly as good as the seminal Resident Evil 4.

its up now (at least in the uk)... played 5 mins of it and it is very old school resi and will be even better with the circle pad (if only to allow the r trigger to be further away from the screen)
