Tekken 3D Prime Edition release date confirmed
Out in February.
Tekken 3D Prime Edition launches in Europe on 17th February 2012, Namco Bandai has confirmed.
Namco Bandai has partnered with Nintendo to distribute the fighting game in Europe.
Namco said Tekken on 3DS, the first Tekken title on a Nintendo platform since Tekken Advance on the GBA in 2001, is a "more realistic and dynamic Tekken experience".
It has over 40 characters and new stages, some of which have been redesigned "especially for Nintendo 3DS". It uses the 3DS Wi-Fi, too. Namco Bandai promises fast-paced dynamic battles and a high framerate.
The game includes a 3D version of the Tekken: Blood Vengeance movie, produced by Digital Frontier (Resident Evil: Degeneration, Death Note, Appleseed) and directed by Youichi Mouri (opening movies for Tekken 5 and Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion).

The goods being a non-gimped engine, 60fps and a playable online mode (I.e not tekken 6).

I hope the game engine is compromised for a handheld, it runs at 30fps and the online is unplayable.
You guys really are hard to please.

Just a shame the damn d-pad is so small and therefor crappy for fighting games.
