Uncharted and Everybody's Golf lead the way.

Everybody's Golf and Uncharted: Golden Abyss are the two most popular game in the Japanese Vita launch line-up, according to Sony exec Shuhei Yoshida.

Speaking in an interview with the PlayStation Blog, Yoshida revealed that the games, both published by Sony Worldwide Studios, are the most pre-ordered titles in the country.

If Everybody's Golf is your portable console's biggest selling title, you're in trouble.

I never played Everybody's Golf but isn't the series made by Camelot who also did Mario Golf? Because Mario Golf was absolutely fantastic and I am in no way surprised to see it sell systems as well.

I really want to see how the severly cut down Ridge Racer is doing. DLC isn't really doing as well in Japan and the price of the game is absolutely ridiculous since it's basically just a platform to get the DLC.

Uncharted would probably be the only game that would sway me towards a Vita, maybe Killzone too, as long as it was awesome.

I'm really glad Everybody's Golf is selling so well, Clap Hanz have always delivered. Looks like the PSV will continue where the PSP left off for me, the Everybody's games (Golf, Golf 2, Tennis) were the only UMDs I always made sure to have on me. Great portable titles.

@Alex_V Or it's just the safest best for most people, Few people will buy all of those games Day 1...

Indeed Everybody IS Golf, looks like I'll be importing Dream C Zero as that won't be released here...

Should probably try to finish Lord of Arcana at some point but then I'm much more interested in a FF Type-0 release date...

Hope the Vita gets as good a launch line up over here...

Yes, all of my comments are a mess of stream of unconsciousnessessssss.....

@Der_tolle_Emil The series was first created by Camelot of Mario Golf fame but after the first game, development moved to Clap Hanz and the rest, as they say, is history :)

They might be the most pre-ordered but they're definitely not the most played games right now, at least in my area - according to the 'Near' app.

The top 10 right now is:

    1) Welcome Park (a free built in tutorial type mini games collection).
    2) Minna to ishou / With Everyone
    3) Livetweet (a free Twitter app)
    4) Torne (App for using the Japan only PVR system)
    5) Everybodys Golf
    6) Ridge Racer
    7) Nobita
    8) NEXT
    9) Uncharted
    10) Dream C Club Zero Portable
    11) Lord of Apocalypse

So the top two actual games being played right now are Everybodys Golf and Ridge Racer.

That being said, i'm loving Uncharted on the Vita :)
