Battlefield 3 server status web page launched

Up! Up! Up!

EA has launched a dedicated web page for Battlefield 3 players to check server status.

The page, which automatically refreshes every minute, displays the status for Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and PC game servers, as well as the status of Battlelog, Battlefield 3's stat-tracking service.

At the time of writing everything is Up, which is lovely.

Battlefield 3, which launched late last month, supports dedicated servers for multiplayer.

People have been whinging about the servers but I've had barely any trouble at all with them and I played a lot last week. Only had a couple of brief moments when I suffered "walking through treacle", and only lost connection to a server once. I'm very impressed after the ballache Bad Company 2 was to play for the first two months.

Likewise, I've experienced ver few problems with the BF3 servers. That said, I didn't get a chance to play on the release weekend, which sounded a little painful for some. Occassional lag issue, but can't recall ever being disconnected....

It can only continue to get more stable as the FPS market is split between CoD and BF3, I'm sure.
