Ghost Recon: Future Soldier release date
Ubisoft plots March retail assault.
Tactical shooter Ghost Recon: Future Soldier in the US on 6th March, publisher Ubisoft has announced via Joystiq.
That should give the development team plenty of time to make any tweaks following the title's planned January open beta.

Actually, I'd completely forgotten this game was even coming out. I hope they don't stray too far away from the Ghost Recons of old; they were far more fun than all this Modern Warfare nonsense.

If they can stick to the old formula and not jump on the COD bandwagon then I might be into this. But I really don't want weird guns that bend round corners and sh!t like that. I want the more clinical, tactical, gameplay of the original xbox ones.
I used to love taking a team and coordinating breaches perfectly. Or sticking a sniper somewhere who would provide cover on the more open maps. How much did it suck when one of your guys who had been souped up died cos of a stupid mistake. I actually had invested so much time and effort in getting them experience there was an emotional impact in losing one. Anyone else have a penchant for the female sniper?
