League of Legends: Dominion out now

Riot Games launches new game mode.

Riot Games has launched Dominion, a new game mode for action RTS League of Legends.

The free-to-play capture and hold mode is now available to play in Europe and North America.

Riot describes Dominion as an "accelerated version" of classic League of Legends gameplay. Matches, which take place on a new map called the Crystal Scar, last around 20 minutes.

A whopping 15 million people play League of Legends. 1.4 million play ever day.

    The community of that game is literally the worst online community I have ever encountered. Including xbox live and 4chan.

    heheheh. lol. Well, I guess i am one of those bad people in the game. been banned once already. Thing is that its a problem with the type of game. Noobs in a 5v5 game like that where 1 player can screw the whole team ---> ragers and just general fed up, bad attitudes. I don't mind bad attitudes, just bad players, afkers, trolls (that affect the game, not ppl just talking crap). It is frustrating as can be

    It is out now but rather meh compared to the "classic" mode IMHO.

    Still... it is fast and chaotic. Maybe something to play if you are not in a serious mood (or you don't want pressure from the other players ;)

    Dominion is far less ragetastic, which is nice. The change is nice too, and more characters are useful than on, say, Twisted Treeline. Overall a good improvement.

    also, eh, people take this game too seriously. I swear they need to introduce a 1 on 1 mode that's ranked, then I'll never see rage again.

    jstar is correct.

    The player community is really bad, in fact, I am certain people have left the game because of it.
